Former insomniac. Ten years of trying everything, in order.

June didn't sleep properly for most of her twenties. She tried everything with a straight face — hypnosis tracks, subliminals, white noise, counting backward from three hundred — and kept notes. She writes the honest first-person reviews: what each practice felt like, what stuck, what was placebo she was grateful for anyway. The notes were the accident that became the method: eleven years of them now, in a spreadsheet she started at twenty-three with columns for what she tried, how long she gave it, and what actually happened. That archive is why her reviews read differently — she can tell you not just whether a practice works but what week it starts working, what it feels like when it fails, and which claims on the label quietly disappeared on contact with a real bedroom. She gives everything a fair run, usually a month, because she learned the hard way that three nights proves nothing. She is gentle about placebo — half of what fixed her sleep was probably belief, and she kept it anyway, because sleep doesn't check receipts. Her recurring theme is honesty about the boring parts: the practices that survived her twenties were the unglamorous ones, kept consistently. She still updates the spreadsheet. Some habits you keep out of gratitude.

Writes about: sleep routines, insomnia recovery, practice reviews.
