About Sleep Spoken
What you hear while you sleep shapes you. Sleep Spoken exists to take that sentence seriously — the practices, the audio engineering, the evidence, and the last ten minutes before sleep where all of it happens.
Sleep Spoken covers the night-listening practices: subliminals, sleep hypnosis, sleep affirmations, reality shifting, and the small science of the drowsy window where words land without argument. We write about what’s actually on the tracks, what the research found, and how people use these practices in real bedrooms — at low volume, on school nights.
The house rules are simple. Evidence gets stated honestly, even when it’s modest. Practices get respect, even when the claims around them don’t. Nothing here is medical advice, and nothing is worth losing sleep over — literally. If a track costs you sleep, it costs more than it gives.
The writers are practitioners and professional listeners: a hypnotherapist, an audio engineer, an affirmation writer, a psychology writer, a recovered insomniac with notes. They don’t always agree about mechanisms. They agree about honesty.
The site is part of the Aya publication network, home of the AYA Method — the version of the night practice where every word is audible and every word is yours. When we mention it, that’s the connection: same ritual, nothing hidden.
